Please join us for our annual celebration honoring our judiciary. David Horan, Esq., of Key West, will tell the fascinating tale of the discovery of the Spanish warship “El Cazador,” which resulted in a seven-year, nationally publicized litigation against the United States, the State of Florida and other states over who owned the treasure contained therein. Mr. Horan has vast experience in admiralty law, and has represented most of the modern United States Salvors of ancient and/or historic shipwrecks and aircraft, including the treasure salvors of El Cazador. Mr. Horan will be giving away a piece of treasure recovered from El Cazador to one lucky winner who is present at the luncheon.
