In celebration of diversity month, the CCWBA is excited to present this joint lunch with the CCBA on April 27, 2022. Professor Marian G. Braccia of the Temple University Beasley School of Law will present “Hysterical: ‘Gendered’ Communication and Its Effect on Persuasive Advocacy.” The program discusses the discrepancies in how argument is received based on gender. Learn to challenge how women are initially perceived in terms of power positions in and out of the courtroom. Professor Braccia will present the best practices of verbal and nonverbal communication to help eliminate gender bias in litigation and advocacy. Not only is this presentation eye-opening, but it promises to educate and empower.
